Since I have written last I am now going to the courthouse and getting copies of Death and Marriage info for $5.00 a piece. Older ones I can only get the info and about 1930s and forward I can get copies. The older ones they say costs $8.00 for them to type them up. I also charge $3.00 for going to the archives here and looking and copying the obits if you would like. Just let me know. Have a great holiday..

    3. They are photo copies of the hand written actual records. When I purchased them MTU was doing the research and I was able to order them through the mail. The "extra's" I refered to was they included all "Rule" employes that worked for the mines and they also sent me copies of the city directories. I was delighted to say the least and wrote them a nice letter. They no longer provide this service, I am told. Good luck, Barbara, Lakeland, Florida Heather Pearce <[email protected]> wrote: Hi! 3. Hi! Sandy, Thank you so much for the little gold mine of information you found on PETERS. It does appear to be the family I am searching for. Thomas PETERS was my great grandfather's brother. Looks like that branch might have died out. Thomas PETERS Jnr. born in MI around 1870 is the last hope but I'll have to check as he might have died prior to 1900. List Subject: [MIHOUGHT] Rambault/ Raymbaultown In an obituary for my g-g-grandfather Alexander McLeod for December of 1910, his residence is listed as Raymbaultown. In the 1910 census from August of 1910, his address is listed as 2113 Log (Rambault) Street. The address on his death certificate is the same 2113 Log Street. I was wondering if anyone knows anything more about Rambault or Raymbaultown? This is apparently an area of what is now Laurium (or Calumet), and was apparently just Calumet Township in 1910. Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg//2FB.2ACI/4659 Message Board Post: Ironwood Daily Globe (Ironwood, Michigan) > 1930 > August > 7 600 at Family reunion Calumet Nearly 600 members of the Nordstrom family, coming from all parts of the northwest, gathered at Eagle River Monday for their second annual reunion. The first meeting of this group was held in 1903 when 150 attended the celebration of the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Nils Nordstrom . Last year at the first annual reunion , over 500 members of the Nils Nordstrom branch of the family met at Big Traverse bay. Nordstroms at the reunion this year came from all over the Upper Peninsula , Minnesota, Chicago , Detroit , Milwaukee, as well as from other points in the northwest. The Keweenaw band furnished music during the day,William E. smith was the speaker of the day. In addition , a program of sports for the children and entertainment for the adults was arranged by the comittee. My father told me that the Nordström family was so large that they had their own band in Mohawk. He had a photo but gave it away before I could copy it. Alicia
