I am looking for a connection between the two referenced families. Nellie and Orrin Blair were brother and sister; their parents were Orrin and Ruby Blair of Litchfield, Hillsdale, Michigan according to the census from 1870-1900. My gr-grandmother was Edith Jordan of Fayette, Hillsdale, Michigan. Her parents were John W. and Elcy Jordan. Elcy/Elsie apparently died in 1880 and John W. and his daughter Edith moved to Grayling where he managed the lumber mill. Cousin Nell came to visit Edith according to the Grayling Avalanche. Edith Jordan married Sidney Claggett and Sidney and Orrin Blair formed a company called Claggett and Blair. It appears that Elcy Jordan and Ruby Blair may have been sisiters - both report birthplace as Canada. Would appreciate any help in putting these two families together.
