I believe most of the kids were born in Litchfield, MI. One of their sons Edward Lorraine was a Professor at Ann Harbor and was lost in the sinking of the French La Bourgogne off of Nova Scotia, Canada in 1898. Another son Eugene Erastus Walter was an Officer with the 3rd US Colored Calvary. Thanks
