I continue to search for information on Minerva Murray who died in Hillsdale July 8, 1939. She was born in Licking County,Ohio, lived in Defiance, Ohio in 1860 and moved to Hillsdale between 1860 and 1870. She married John Stewart or Stuart in 1873. Records make it appear that they were married in August, she gave birth to a son John in October of 1873 and then a daughter Bertha in January of 1874. By 1880 she was staying in Kansas with her sister Fannyretta and brother-in-law Hiram Corey. She was listed as a widow with infant son Edward Murray. John and Bertha were not listed with her. She spent most of her life in Hillsdale. Census records show her living with Hiram who was a widower in 1900, with her son Edward in 1910, and then with Estelle Chestnut, the daughter of Fannyretta and Hiram, in 1920 until her death. The obituary lists a Rev. Hildner as officiating at the funeral. Does anyone know what church he would have served or have any of these people in cemetery records? Jan Benders
