    3. Ann, I tried to view the page I think you are referring to using Heritage Quest, but it is probably as bad as at Ancestry.com. What might help a bit is that the Heritage Quest index says that someone named Albert E. Dukman is on the page. On the line that I believe is him (near the bottom -- there's no one else with that name on the page) it says he was born in Ohio; father and mother born Pennsylvania. But those are about the only things that are decipherable. You may already have this, but in case not: 54 year old George Dukman born PA is in the 1870 census of Jefferson Twp. Margaret Dukman age 52 born PA; Alice Dukman age 18 born OH; Albert Dukman age 16 born OH; and a 7 year old named Elizabeth (Bahaid?) born PA are the other members of his household. From FamilySearch.org: In 1880 George H. Dukeman is 64 years old. Wife Margaret is 62. Daughter Alice is 26, and son Albert is 24. My guess is that George died before the 1900 census. Hope this is of some help to you. They were in Jefferson Twp until at least 1894. I've tried to find them in 1900 census and think they might be near the bottom of page 8B of ED 91. Peley ASH & Martin MILLER, close neighbors are also on that page. The bottom is very dark on the Ancestry images, so I can't read it. At some later time, the descendants moved on to Battle Creek. I'd be happy for any help. THanks.
