Source: Hudson Post 11 Apr. 1902 Mrs. Sarah McNair, 70, was struck and killed by the East bound fast mail train on Thursday. She had lived in Hudson nearly all of her life. Her husband died 35 years ago. She was the mother of 10 children; but two are living, Mrs. Rosa Knapp and Mrs. Eunice Evatt, both of this city. With Mrs. McNair lived her grandson, Bert Kipp, 27 and a great-grandchild, Morris Ballard, aged 9.
