    3. I am research Joseph Hyatt who lived most of his year in the Hector area of New York. He is found there from 1800 to just prior to 1840 when he and his second wife Anna Geary Gillespie Hyatt moved to Hillsdale County MI. There is death date for Joseph Hyatt as June 7, 1845 in Reading, Hillsdale County, Mi from Anna Geary Gillespie Hyatt pension file. I am looking for any information that would help me find the children of Joseph Hyatt by his first wife. There may be a probate or an will as Joseph and Anna sold land in Hector before their departure to Michigan. Joseph was a trustee in Baptist Churches in Hector area. Since this is more of a legal position than a religious one in Baptist Churches, he signed his name in that capacity on several documents in the Hector area. He and Anna received a letter of dismissal in about 1839 from the local church in Hector. They may have joined or helped organize a church in the area. Anna was married to Joseph Gillespie in a Presbyterian church in Goshen, NY. Joseph Gillespie was a Rev soldier and was killed in the War of 1812 at the battle of Lewiston.. She was married the second time to Joseph Hyatt by a JP in 1826. Anna died about ten years later in Van Buren county. She had a daughter Margaret married t! o a Saxton. Joseph is in Mi by 1840 census. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that you can give me. Thank you in advance Marilyn Bess
