Jennie (born 1868) was daughter of Jeremiah Sullivan and Jane Fagan, and died in 1912 in Allen. Frank then married Edith Hakes (born 1873) in 1913 in Ray, Indiana. Edith died in 1954. Frank and Jennie Burns had two children: Hazel Aileen Burns, born 1896, died 1983. Married Henry Frederick Hamill in 1923. They had one son: Robert Henry Hamill (born 1924, died 1971). IVAN WILLIAM BURNS, born 1891 in Hillsdale County, died 1947 in Hastings. Married Mildred Lucille Bowers (born 1897, died 1972) in 1920 in Eaton Rapids. Ivan worked for N.Y. Nathaniel later moved to OH. I know of one sister to Laura named Sarah. No other data besides ancestry of Nathaniel. She appeared in Duncan's book on the Cases. Perhaps this will help.

He was born in Upper Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio about 1858 and died in Vestaburg, Michigan in February 1929. He was married to Harriett (Hattie) Elliott. Their children were (1) Caroline (2) Edwin (my great grandfather) and (3) Elvin. On a census, both of his parents are listed as having been born in NY. They moved from NY to Ohio. I don't know if they moved the family from Ohio to Michigan or if just James Dexter Tanner went to Michigan. Any help would be appreciated in finding James Dexter Tanner's parents and siblings..
