The Cora Stanley Ewing I am looking for was born December 1860 and died 1952. Are Thomas and Cora's children, Lottie, Jay, and Lena buried there also? That Larry Day is the one I was looking for. Where is Evergreen Cemetery? I have an Archie Felt also buried there. He died March 05, 1974. His wife was Gladys.

I have only gotten into the vertical files and family files , haven't even begun to look at microfilm on the newspapers... yet. I will get in there and look again for the Stanley family file, but I got some good things just with what I've gotten so far. Microfilm is easier if you have the death day, and the month, (Ive been down the road, looking through a whole year before), especially with older papers, news didn't tend to be that quick.....e-mail me at my address, I gave you... with any dates, in regards to day and month of death. It will make searching much easier......Later Jill

Another was a tribute to the "progenator" of the family... There's an extensive history far back, it's printed on typing paper to sheets wide, 2 long , makes it kind of difficult to copy, taped together, I got home and didn't have all of it, will mail later. Bought a envelope, doubt anything else would fit.

Went to Cedar Point, I did manage to get sun burned there they still have sun.....Date would help, don't know what it is, but there seems to be far more stuff on the Ewing family, than the Stanley. Said there was a family file, but I didn't find it , may have been misfilled.

I will be looking forward to 'opening it' and seeing the contents. If the weather in Hillsdale was like it was here in Salem, it was a good day to be at the library. It rained most of the day. We were not expecting rain until Thursday. We were hoping to do some catchup on home projects. Glad I mowed the lawn last night.

In one of your messages, you mentioned it was hard finding the obituaries of the Stanley connections since some did not have dates. I have dates for the 29 or so that I was interested. I was especially interested in the copy of their obituary since it would give other personal information. If you need the dates, etc., please let me know. On February 18, 2003, a person with the email address of Snowbird, wrote to tell me there were 54 Stanleys buried in Hillsdale County that they would look them up for me. Are you 'snowbird'. I appreciate your time in looking up this information.
