Hi Listers, I'm reposting my information about Samuel & Harriet Holland. My Samuel Holland was born in England about 1834. Sometime between then and 1858 (approximate birth year of their oldest child) he arrived in Canada and married Harriet Schram. They were probably married at or near Lambeth, Westminster Twp., Middlesex Co., Ontario, Canada, Harriets birthplace. They are first listed in Grand Traverse County records on the 1870 Michigan census Descendants of Samuel William Holland Generation No. 1 1. SAMUEL WILLIAM1 HOLLAND was born Abt. 1834 in England, and died Bef. January 21, 1892 in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. He married HARRIETT SCHRAM, daughter of BENJAMIN SCHRAM and JANE (TICKNOR).
