    1. [MIGENESE] What church goes with this minister?

    3. Hi everyone, I just got a copy of my great-grandparents' official marriage record (John J. WILLIAMS and Kittie GIBLIN). Under "Name and Official Station of Person by Whom Married" it says "Luther Lee, Minister of the Gospel". The date of the marriage was 11 December 1867 in Flint. Can anyone help me with the name and denomination of the church Luther Lee was affiliated with? And beyond that is there any chance that its records still exist and are available in any form for viewing? From my experience the term "Minister of the Gospel" has been applied in such records to many denominations. By family tradition, this line is Methodist and, judging by his name, I would guess Luther Lee was not a Catholic priest! This line has been a real stumper and I'm looking for any leads I can find. As a side note, the record I received from the Genesee County Clerk was a freshly-typed transcript. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a photocopy of the original in case any errors were made in transcription? Thank you. Juliann
