I do not know when my ancestors arrived in MI either. I have more than one family and only have little information. I do know that my g grandfather on my grandmothers side is James S. McCALLUM who was born in MI. His mother is said to be from Northern Ireland. Her last name was SHARP or SHARPE. Also my grandmothers mothers name is BROWN. I believe her mother was a JONES and her mother AUSTIN. I have little information on all. The one person I would like to trace down is my g grandfather James S. McCALLUM. I have birth and death dates. He had a brother John McCALLUM. If anyone can help me locate cemeteries on these families and other information that would be greatly appreciated.
