Pam -- Am wondering about your grandmother's name? You said her name was Brown- was her background Irish? I am trying to find info on my g-grandfather, James S. Brown. He died in Alcona County, MI about 1940. His father, also James Brown, was born in Ireland and immigrated to New York, to Canada where my g-grandfather was born. I also have an Austin in my ancestry - from Michigan - around the Jackson County area. Her name was Emily Austin. - She married a John Gordon (among others) and they had Emma Gordon who married my g-grandfather, James Deller. Is McCallum connected to the Hendries from Scotland? My e-mail is dpsears@artelco.com.
