I have Whitman Franklin Clapp married 23 Aug 1857 to Helen Cushman, she died giving birth to their first child, Merton Clapp born 14 June 1858. She is buried in the Upton Cem. in Genesee Co., MI There is a wealth of info on that family in the Flint Public Library. Joan of MI
