Janet- If I remember correctly, Chavez Dr. is the service drive for 475? Can you tell me any cross streets to Chavez or where the cemetary is in relation to the library. Yes, it is the service drive for I-475. Robert T. Longway Blvd runs east and west, you can turn north onto Chavez Dr north or further south you can turn north from Kersley ST (where the Flint Public library is, wonderful genealogy section there too) onto Chavez Dr north. From I-475 north bound take exit 8A, and I think the sign says Longway Blvd, directly onto Chavez north, you will not be exiting onto Robert T. Longway Blvd, this is Chavez Dr north bound. The Armory building looks like a castle or a church. You aren't the first person I've heard say, "I can see it but I can't get to it!" Please let me know if I've helped you find the cemetery or if I've confused you more. Janet is being really helpful, I was raised in Flint, but since returning near the area, 3 years ago, I get lost trying to get around here, it changed a lot in the 37 years I was gone. I would like to point out one thing from her instructions, however. It is not Kersley St, but Kearsley St. (The only reason I know how to spell it is that I graduated from Kearsley High School.)
