I would like to find Lydia AUSTIN who married Peter JONES on another Census to prove some names. I have the 1880 Census for them with family in Elmwood, Tuscola Michigan. However I have some pictures of Lydia and 3 of her daughters named Emma JONES, Flora Bell JONES and Hattie JONES. My attention is on Hattie JONES. I do not see a Hattie JONES. If this is a nickname then sometimes it will show up on another Census. Then I know I have the right person and dates and I can write for a certificate. All through family information she was known as Grandma Hattie BROWN (she married a supposedly Charley HEATH, but might be a John HEATH and he drowned) then she married a William Murry BROWN. But the name that was found for this information was an Olive A. JONES, not a Hattie JONES. So I need to prove who Hattie really is. Can anyone help? If anyone can find an obit on this drowning of HEATH it might give surviours names. I have run out of places to look God Bless Pam
