    3. Tonia, I could look for you when I go to the Library in Lansing. It will be hard to pinpoint a date tho. if you are looking for an announcement of the engagement. Also not sure what time span for notice of license. I think most people got them within a week of the marriage. The wedding announcement would be really good to find, if there was one. I found one for a cousin who was married in Lansing in 1925 and it described the decorations, flowers, etc. and gave the names of wedding guests. I meant to look for wedding announcements for others also and somehow that fell thru. the cracks. ;-) Don't know at this point exactly when I will be going..it is about 80 miles away. 3. Hi Bonnie, Thank you for contacting me. If you find out when you will be going to the library, could you email me first? Then I could tell you whether or not I've already obtained the article so you don't waste your time. Thanks so much for the offer. Any help is very much appreciated. 3. Tonia, I know of a faster way and just remembered about it. The Flint Public Library will take your request by e-mail for a search for an obituary and it costs very little. Total, I think, is a dollar and the postage and they bill you when they send it to you. The URL is: http://www.flint.lib.mi.us/fpl/resources/genealogy/researchrequests.html Let me know if you do this or not. 3. Do you think they'll do a marriage lookup as well? I'll give it a try.
