I say that I think because I can find no evidence that they married. They were constant companions if they did not marry. My GGrandfather died while working on the line at the (GM)automotive plant in Flint when my Grandfather was 21 years old. They lived on Term Street. I do not know if that was Flint then or Burton. Her Name was Cora Smith. She is buried with her first husband Alvin. They are buried in Clio Cemetery and I saw a grave near by for a John Daly as well but did not know if that was the one. I have looked for records to see if they married but have never found any. Have discovered that she (Cora) nursed both of her parents who were from Uniondale, Indiana until they died. My Grandparents spoke often of John as if he were a member of the family but all members of the family who would know for sure are gone..
