    1. [MIGENESE] Flint Directory Lookup Needed
    2. Dear Friends, According to an Ellis Island manifest for my g-uncle, he was headed to Flint, MI in 1913. The address was given as 2706 Michigan St. Is it possible to look that address up and tell me who was listed as the owner/resident of that place? Two names may be here: (1) Sadowski or (2) Notoray. I sure do appreciate all kind and generous assists. I say that I think because I can find no evidence that they married. They were constant companions if they did not marry. My GGrandfather died while working on the line at the (GM)automotive plant in Flint when my Grandfather was 21 years old. They lived on Term Street. I do not know if that was Flint then or Burton. Her Name was Cora Smith. She is buried with her first husband Alvin. They are buried in Clio Cemetery and I saw a grave near by for a John Daly as well but did not know if that was the one. I have looked for records to see if they married but have never found any. Have discovered that she (Cora) nursed both of her parents who were from Uniondale, Indiana until they died. My Grandparents spoke often of John as if he were a member of the family but all members of the family who would know for sure are gone.. If this is your John...Our family loved him and he touched our lives. Jan Smith Gail Harms wrote: > Hello, > My name is Gail. 3. Tonia, I know of a faster way and just remembered about it. The Flint Public Library will take your request by e-mail for a search for an obituary and it costs very little. Date of record May 9, 1896. This certainly matches up with my data - I calculated her birthdate last night to be 1803 from the 1880 census and she was certainly born in Mass - poor Mr Brainerd keeps moving about - first I have him as 'Judge' then as 'Eli' and now from your email and one other I finally get his given name! It's been a long road for Elizabeth - I started by fishing a family photo out of the trash years ago (I think they tossed her spouse when I wasn't looking, have never found the photo I recalled being with it) when everyone insisted she wasn't related. I said the 'Aunt' before her name kinda led me to think she was. Thanks! Liz
