Most likely they they are trying to update their database. I have used this for marriage information and have added some of mine for others to use if needed or searching. As Dan said, just delete if the name is not one you are researching. I need to obtain a criminal court record that occurred in 1935. However, I do not know where to write in Flint. Am hoping someone on the list will know which governmental office might have this record. It was a case of negligent homicide and the sentencing was on 7 December 1935. If you have his SS# and date of death (may possibly need proof of death) you can write to the SS Admin and request a copy of his application for $27.00 which will give you his parents names. Have you tried going into the Flint Genealogical Society site? Burton is part of the Flint area.
