Hi,does anyone live in the Lake Ann, Beulah area? I need help! I don't get back to Michigan that often. My grandfather was born there and I would like to find some information on him. I understand that the birth records have to be at least 100 yrs. old before they'll let you have a look at them. If anyone can do the leg work for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Here's the info: Henry Altman dob 3-18-1891 in Beulah Michigan Father's name: August Altman Mother's name: Mary Altman I can research Mary Altman's lineage but I am totalled stumped with August. His full name is: Johann Friedrick August Altmann - - two N's. It got shortened along the way. I know that August's dob is 8-25-1855 in Germany and that's about it.
