Spanish American War of 1898 Michigan Regiments 33rd Regiment completed - 1256 volunteers The counties with large entries: Alpena Bay Cheboygan Genesee Saginaw Shiawassee St. Clair Wayne Other counties are included but this regiment does not have the bulk from those counties in it. The other county listings will grow as more regiments are finished. The 34th is next and encompasses the western northern part of Michigan for the most part.
