Hi I would like to thank everyone who has helped me with my Parr Family without you all I would never have got the information I have. Can anyone tell me where I can get information on Births Marriages and Deaths I have been on Ansestry but really haven't got anything.The only thing I have managed to get is Carson's death in 1996 at Charlotte. I would like to find a marriage for Mary born 1883 and Edith born 1886 at Charlotte. Also a death for Herbert born 1863 in England and Mary born 1864 in England they would have lived Charlotte. Michigan birth records are closed unless the births are over 100 years old or if you are named on the certificate. With the dates you have given you should be able to order the birth certificates from the Vital Records office in Lansing. You can order those thru Vital Check. As for the death records and marriage records, unless you find someone on line who has information to share you may have to go to a research facility such as the Library of Michigan or a library that has some Michigan books to do the research. The US GenWeb pages can be very helpful in locating information on deaths and marriages in Michigan as well. You can locate the GenWeb pages by going to any good search engine and typing in US GenWeb. Then branching down to the state pages you need and finally the county pages from there. One other place that I forgot to mention for marriage information in Michigan is the DiBean Marriage lists. The DiBeans have spent years locating marriage records and giving them to all of the Michigan GenWeb sites. So while on the MICHIGAN sites, look for the DiBean list for Marriages. This is ONLY in MICHIGAN, and doesn't always tell you exactly where they found the record, but it is a start.
