A shot in the dark here: Looking for an Alva E. CHESEBRO , born Nov. 1852 in Michigan. In 1900 he is listed as a widower. In his household was a housekeeper, Bessie SHROEDER, born in July 1879. He was living in the Town of Sullivan, Madison County, NY. In 1905, this same Alva E. CHESEBRO was age 53, still located in the town of Sullivan, Madison County. THIS TIME THOUGH, he is married to his housekeeper, Bessie J. SHROEDER. They have a child together by the name of OLIVE B. CHESEBRO. Olive B. Chesebro was born abt. 1903. I believe that Alva had a sister, Josephine, who was born in Ohio. I also believe that soon after his birth, his mother brought him back to Madison County, NY (her hometown). Who was the father?
