I sent away for a copy of my grandmother's SS-5 form by social security number. I found out shortly after that I was given the wrong number! So the form I received was not for her! It is for Parmer (sp) Edison Bowman born in Canada in 1864 & lived in Michigan at the time of application. His parents were Hanson Bowman & Sarah Jane Cosby.
