My family groups came to Michigan in the following order: 1. Child -- to Washtenaw Co., then Alaiedon Twp., Ingham Co., in 1836. 2. Converse -- to Mason, Ingham Co., 1837. 3. Weeks -- to Leslie Twp., Ingham Co., in 1847. 4. Bolster -- to Manchester, Washtenaw Co., in 1862; then to Ingham and Ionia Counties in 1870. 5. Williams -- to Copper Harbor, Houghton Co., then to Negaunee, Marquette Co., in the 1870's (from Cornwall). 5. Satterthwaite -- to Negaunee, Marquette Co., in the 1880's (from Cornwall). 6.
