    3. Today will be the last day that I will be sending free search links, all scanned by norton 2003, for Eng, Ireland, Scotland,Canada, USA etc. as I will be answering queries for marriages for Perthshire, Scotland 1687-1809 [1 surname request at a time only] My family takes me to visit the Seniors Home once a week to take them jokes which I print off that people send to me and distribute them while my grandsons play country and western music for them. I find visiting the seniors home to be very enlightening on the information that they have of bygone years. My grandson, sat beside one of them who was 97 years old, and very knowledgeable and read one of my old newspapers to her from 1834, she sure enjoyed it, she had a hearty laugh when he read her the part about Turkeys ready for the oven in an adv. for 30 cents each. She told him you just made me feel young. [We dont discuss politics, religion or money, or their age, that is all their business, like my dad used to say. This! Sunday we plan on taking her out for dinner with us as she doesnt have any relatives. I think more people should visit seniors or nursing homes as some may call them. I will also be preparing for my grandsons band plus others to play at the Dow People Place on Front st. In Sarnia, Ont. on Aug 19, 2003 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also the seniors enjoy playing shuffleboard and crocinole. Also thanks to the many people who have replied to my writeups, who have found a direction as to where they may search for ancestors from these newspaper articles, who asked if I could find info for them. Please note this will be my last for lookups except for Perthshire, Scotland marriages. === FROM Colonial Advocate, Toronto, Ont, Canada Aug 14, 1834 obituaries as written George Perrin, of the Chequered Store, d. last week Last Friday, Capt James McIntosh, elder brother of Captain Charles McIntosh owner of the Steamship the Cobourg, died and had only been married a few months Louisa Burwell, daughter of Col.
