Canada May 22nd, 1834 The Rev Brooke Bridges Stevens, Chaplain of the forces died in Montreal, Que on the 13th inst. At New York, on Apr. 20th, 1834 John Quilliam, Printer, formerly foreman of the Colonial Advocate, in the 38th year of his age. May 31, 1834; on 27th inst., the infant daughter of Mr. Musson, of King St. in Toronto, Ont July 3, 1834 David Thomson, d. lately of Scarboro, Ont July 12, 1834 The body of Dr. Phillip Sargeant, an English gentleman, lately from Cornwall, Ont, was found in the harbour last Sunday morning, missing for several days July 31, 1834 George Hutton, the foreman of Mr. Stennet"s Shop and Colonel Fitzgibbons son, a lad of 14 years were killed yesterday afternoon when a gallery gave way in the Market Square On 26th inst. Hi Maggie, May 22nd, 1834 The Rev Brooke Bridges Stevens, Chaplain of the forces died in Montreal, Que on the 13th inst. What is the significance of this death to you? I have quite a bit of information about him and his wife, Elizabeth Nelles. He was baptized in Quomdon, Leicestershire, England on 3 Aug 1787. He immigrated to Canada about 1819.
