    1. [MIGEN] RE: Zenas/os Ross Clan from Ontario CA
    2. Charles Geo. Ross UE
    3. Dear Listers; I'm researching the decendents of the above and have been for the past 5 years. I received a list of decendents which dates around 1930 and have added quite a few more. Zenas was from Ct. then moved to Vt. and was a private with the King's Rangers/Rogers Rangers, K.R.R.N.Y. during the Amer. Rev. After defeat he and his family (Rachel nee Wright, and 5 children) migrated to Canada and settled in Ontario as United Empire Loyalists. Through time several kin have moved to different parts of Canada and the States. Zenas' greatgrandson moved his family to Owosso Mi., where he and his wife are buried. His daughters Mable B. (m) Lester Williams, Sarah M. (m) James Allan Ketchapaw, sons William H. (m) Grace Leadbetter and James Fred (m) ? who was the first fireman to be killed fighting the Central School fire in Owosso on April 1, 1900. All of the above are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso. There are several other Ross' related buried there as well. I have digital photos of all of the gravestones. Last year when I was in Owosso around the same time there was a Ross reunion that I was not aware of and would like to have gonew. I have no Ross contacts in Michigan and would like to contact further reletives and possibly add them to the main Ross list. Anyone connected to this Ross clan please contact me. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you may be able to give. Loyally, Chuck

    1. [MIGEN] 1900 census look-up
    2. Joy
    3. I have quite the dilemma here. After obtaining a obit today, I see a different name listed for the deceased mother. I can't imagine the research I've done is wrong. So, could someone look in the 1900 census and see if theres a couple named Herbert and Mary Smith with a son named Cecil, who would be about 2 years old. All three were born in MI. Thanks in advance! Joy
