I believe they are a bit later (1930- forward). Not positive on the dates. I've found the ONLY Canadian in my husbands family in those cards, which have been microfilmed. 3. Looking for any information on Louis Napoleon Carrow (sometimes went by Napoleon). His wife name was Florence and they had 5 children, Melvina (gram, birth Sept. 12, 1892 MI) Roy, Leo, John and Edward. When Melvina passed away (Obit, June 9, 1921) Edward, Leo, and Roy lived in Detroit while John lived in Flint, didn't say where L N Carrow (father) was living. I would love to find any information about these people as we have nothing on this side of the family. My father didn't know his mother he was about 2 years old when she passed away so this information was taken off death record. Sure would love to connect to someone from this side, what a wonderful Christmas present it would be. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! Thanks God bless Jolene

    1. Re: [MIGEN] halbertsma lookup
    2. This will probably not be of much help but... 1880 census, Ludington, Mason, MI: Eli HALBULSMA, widowed, 58, Holland, Retail grocer (living alone) 1883 Pensioners on the roll for Michigan: Cert NO: 69163, HALBERSMA, Given name: B., Middle name: Eli, post office: Ludington He is totally elusive in 1870 -- must be in some other state than Mighigan. 3. hello, could someone look up EELTJE HALBERTSMA (first name could also be ELI) in the 1880 census in MASON county, place LUDINGTON? And in the 1870 and 1890 censuses as well? He was born in the Netherlands, immigrated to the US in 1858, and died in Ludington in 1894 or thereabouts. There is some information on the LDS site suggesting that he married a Jacomina Scholl, and that they had at least one child, but some confirming information would be nice. Thanks, John de Vries, Ottawa, Canada
