Hello Gretchen Alexander Archibald, who married Elizabeth Russell, was born 6 November 1783 in Inveresk parish, with witnesses Thomas and John Archibald. He was the sixth child of John Archibald (coalminer) and Isabel Archibald (her maiden surname). He married 1806, Inveresk. He died between 1851 and 1855.
