I am trying to find information of a "Reds Elliott who migrated to Baltimore, Md., USA in 1770, we think he was born in 1758 and maybe in the Liddesdale valley. It is know that the Elliott family was involved in the Jacobite Rebellion. He never used is given name and futhermore his children used their mothers maiden name which was Pryor, it is said that one of his sons later made claim to Elliott estate in Scotland, but the claim was denied. Can anyone help me find additional info. on this Reds Elliott? Gordon Crooks
