George: I saw the various msgs regarding the Crooks, while I can't help you on your line, I can give you the history and origins of this family going back to 1138 A.D. if desired. For those reading this I am a Plantation family, we were in N.I. in the early 1600,s and were in Antrim County about 1735 we came to America and settled on Lord Penn's lands in Pennsylvania. Along with us came other related families Dunwoodie, Crunkleton, Moorehead, Beatty, Wallace, McClure, and McCrea and all settled next to each other, which they had also done in Antrim.
