    1. [MIDLOTHIAN] Non Juror Bishop of Edinburgh, Arthur Miller
    2. Doug Forrest
    3. Greetings Listers, In the Scottish Ecclesiastical Record of Ministers, Non Juror Bishop of Edinburgh, Arthur Miller, is confirmed as married to Elizabeth Calderwood and that he died 9^th October 1727 in his 78^th year. If being in his 78^th year was correct, he would have been born in 1649 or early 1650. Can anyone please advise any details of Arthur and Elizabeth in their earlier years, such as birth, christening, marriage, parents etc.or direct me to a site where I might find that information. I am unable to confirm christening or parents of either from the IGI. Margaret and Elizabeth Millar are both shown as his daughters. Margaret married Arthur Forrest in 1708. He was later Captain , Commodore and Admiral in the Royal Navy and served at the West Indian Station at Jamaica until 1770. Any help greatly appreciated. Doug Forrest Burnie, Tasmania, Australia.
