Gretchen, a kinship report for William on my software shows that: Your Alexander Baptie is the son-in-law of William and that Cecilia Dempster, my great aunt is the wife of the grandson, Robert. I don't know how that makes me related to everyone but distantly we are. My tree software will do a relationship report, but not as far back, only direct relationships.
