Thanks to all that responded It appears that the house was rented during the war and owned by Church I now know her name was Alison Lilias Stewart Davies nee Inglis He family were from Dunnotter and she went to Penang to teach - her father was a teacher in Dunnotter school house Best wishes Cathy
