    3. Hi Listers, This is not directly regarding the Laing family, but I am inspired to write by all the difficulty our wayward relatives created for us by inter-marrying within the family. My g-grandfather first married his niece, and Family Tree Maker has no provision for it that I can find. Once a person is listed as a child of someone, they then can't be designated as a spouse of someone else without appearing on the tree as though they were a different person by the same name. They end up being in two different and separate positions on the chart. What to do?
