    3. I also have a connection to the Laing line. However, mine seems to a generation later and don't know exactly where they fit in. James Laing (c1847) married Barbara BRAND (1851-1920). Children: Margaret (b1875) William (b1878) Agnes (1880) married Edward DANKS (b1879) James (b1883) It is through Agnes that my connection is made. Edward Danks was the son of Francis Danks (1797-1863)l and Catherine ORR (1801-1861). Catherine was my 2nd great-aunt.     3. Hello Marie. Seems to me that you are related. I think we need to put all of this into a tree, and do a relationship report. That would tell us what relationship to each other we all are. I think I will work on that over the weekend. I have a holiday on Monday, the new Canadian "Family Day" and apparently my husband doesn't, and my daughter will probably have things to do with friends, so I will have time on Monday to do things.
