In particular I'm interested in Andrew BROWN born between 1849 and 1853 (depending on source - census, M or D certs) in Edinburgh. Andrew married twice in Glasgow. He and 2nd wife are my 1 x g-grandparents. First marriage states father John BROWN fisherman; mother Janet GRAHAM and/or MCINTOSH. I've not actually seen this record, so am not certain just how the mother's names are recorded. On Andrew's second marriage (I have the cert), father stated as James BROWN miner; mother Janet GRAHAM. His 1926 death cert gives same data for parents as 2nd marriage. Perhaps someone else with BROWNs might recognize this lot ...? Toni ~ Ontario
