Hi, Bob, Gretchen, Marie, Jean and Faye: I have attached a report for William Laing and Jean Adamson. The children were found on Family search, and also sent by Jean Campbell from the list. So far for the researchers we have myself, Bob, Gretchen, Marie, and Jean and Faye. Then as soon as I have contact again with the two others I have encountered we will have 8 decendants of this Laing family, related to different decendants or William and Jean Adamson. Jean has also listed an Andrew from the 1851 census, but I have not found him listed with the family and am asking her through this email which Andrew it was found. I found one, but only he was listed... William and Jean's children were probably all married or moved on by the 1841 census so it may be hard to catch a picture of the entire family living together. We may have to wait until we find death records which will prove the parents. The LDS has had someone research this family as all of the records indicate the records had been extracted, or submitted by a church member, but on line I don't know how to find the ancestral file to find out who the submitter was, and hope that there is a contact (i.e. email?) that would be current. Do any of you use the FHC centres near you. I have a cousin who is a researcher in a city near a large FHC and may be able to do a search for me.
