Both sets of my Paternal 1st Great Grandparents are buried in Edinburgh. One set of 1st Great Grandparents is buried at Comely Bank Cemetery. I have the exact information on the compartment and Grave Space where they are buried at Comely Bank Cemetery. There is a Memorial Stone which may or may not mention other members of their family buried with them. The other set of 1st Great Grandparents is buried at Rosebank Cemetery, which I am given to understand is relatively close to Comely Bank Cemetery. I have the exact information on the compartment and Grave Space where they are buried at Rosebank Cemetery. There is a Memorial Stone which may or may not mention other members of their family buried with them. My 2nd Great Grandfather is also buried in Rosebank Cemetery. I have the exact information on the compartment and Grave Space where he is buried at Rosebank Cemetery. I suspect that his spouse whose death preceded him by twenty years buried with him but this is still to be confirmed. Unfortunately there is no Memorial Stone where he is buried. I am seeking some kind soul living in Edinburgh or nearby on this mailing list who would go to the compartments and grave space in the two cemeteries and take photos of the Memorial Stones and, in the case of the my 2nd Great Grandfather, where there is no Memorial Stone a photo of the site where the Memorial Stone would have been if their had been a Memorial Stone. Naturally, I am prepared to pay the costs involved. It would be wonderful if this could be arranged. I am over 80 and will never have an opportunity to travel to Edinburgh and take these photos myself. I do have copies of the plans of both cemeteries which I can provide. But I suspect these would be available from the cemetery office staff who could also provide verbal assistance. I look forward to any answer.
