My explanation to her! *****I could have SWORN Creetown was in Wigtownshire, Olive. Geez! The gazetteer says it stands on Wigtown Bay, so there's the answer why I got mixed up! It just has always stuck in my head that Creetown was in Wigtownshire, because there is the Cree Bridge (Kirkcudbrightshire?), and so on.*****
