Hi folks, I was wondering what is the meaning of , relief church? This is the records I have, ( Hutchesontown Relief Church, Glasgow.) Hutcheson was man that donated money to start a hospital and a church all on a street in Glasgow. They called it Hutchesontown. Could this be a mission or church to help poor families.
