This assurance is then becomes the 100 year closure. BUT in Scotland this was previously taken as a lesser closure and until the 1901 Census release Scots Censuses used to be released sooner ... BMD information is I believe a public record and thus is readily available at any registrars office or through the central registries ..but they have variously decided to make online internet access restricted ....
