Brian I don't think this is the Caledonian Crescent that Trish needs - if her gggrandmother died in the parish of Hunterfield at Newbattle this is more likely Gorebridge or Newbattle Midlothian she is after. Trish I live about a mile from Newbattle and this area over the last 25 years has gone through so much redevelopment I have a feeling that Caledonian Crescent is no longer there - but I will check and get back to you.
