Hello My mother used to talk of musical evenings when the family would gather to hear her uncle Joseph HISLOP sing. Apparently he had a beautiful tenor voice. I know he was from Edinburgh, was a choir boy at St. Giles in 1884. Later he trained several notable opera singers.. I have not been able to find out anything personal such as his parents, siblings, wife, children etc. Is anyone able to tell me where to find out more details, please? Thank you Evelyn MacCallum
