Hi Listers, Just a quick question. My gggrandmother was Elizabeth Laing, married to Robert Archibald (deceased) and then to George Baptie. On 26 Oct, 1856, they had a son, Charles Baptie, according to IGI. The 1861 Census lists his older brother, William and younger brother, George, no mention of Charles. He may have died, but I can't prove it. No further listing for Charles, but can't find any death record either. Did they send 4 year olds to live other places, schools, institutions?????
