I know he was from Edinburgh, was a choir boy at St. Giles in 1884. Later he trained several notable opera singers.. I have not been able to find out anything personal such as his parents, siblings, wife, children etc. Is anyone able to tell me where to find out more details, please? I am not related nor have I heard of the boy but as there are two CAMERON thrones in the Thistle Chapel in St Giles, I feel motivated. The only male of that name in Edinburgh in 1881 was adult and much too old to match. Searching the rest of the CD [Central SCT counties] I found a <possible> match but! make no assumptions..........
