    3. Hi Ellie, I don't think this is the connection you're looking for. Kirkcudbright is on the west coast and the census says he was born in Forfar which is on the east coast. The closest I got was a David Craik born 10 MAY 1835 in Brechin which is in the same county as Forfar, i.e. Angus Would need to look at the Parishes for this period but it is much more likely, regards moira Elaine McNulty wrote: >Thank you Carmel.
