Whilst researching the name WALDIE in the Newbattle/Dalkeith area I was in contact with a Joann Young in Manchester. I later managed to link in with her Waldie line but by then could not contact her and my letter was returned. Joann was about to move house and said she would contact me as soon as she settled but I didn't hear from her and I have since changed address. Her Grandmother or perhaps Gt. Grandmother was a HARE from around that area. Have you, by chance, had any contact with Joann through your HARE line? Unfortunately she didn't have a computer a few years back but who knows now? With the HARE name in many emails just now, I am searching for any information on Susannah HARE, my 3xg-grandmother who married a David BROWN circa 1790. Their daughter Jane b. about 1795 married a Wiilliam Armstrong and all their children were born in Edinburgh. I would appreciate any info on Susannah and David. Doreen Baxter
